University of Ghana students email is one of the most important thing to have or activate to gain access to all the University’s portals like Sakai, misweb STS etc where you can access your text and quizzes, assignments exams, student info/ enquiry etc.
It is created for all students of the University of Ghana for academic purposes as mentioned earlier, some lectures finds it important for students to communicate with them through this emails to ensure simplicity.
There are instances where both the continuing students and the freshers finds it difficult to activate/login to their emails hence the reason for this article.
In this section we are going to lead you through a stepping process to activate or login to your email.
What do I need?
Well nothing much, after your payment and admission is process, you will receive a provisional admission letter which contains your email and a temporal password. Download the letter and you are good to go.
Visit Gmail.com or open the Gmail mobile up and login if you are a first time visitor to gmail however if you’re already signed in to your personal account, all you need do is add another account
Now follow the steps bellow:
Step 1.
Click on the profile icon located on the top right corner of the page.
Step 2.
Click on another account
And choose google.
Step 3.
Enter your UG email and the temporal password as provided on your students provisional admission letter and click next.If your login details are correct, you will be login automatically.
STEP 4.
After your email have been login successfully, go back to the top right corner and click on manage account.
Step 5.
Set up a new permanent password to fully complete the process.
How can I set a permanent password?
 Click on the personal info under manage account
 Scroll down and locate password and click on it.
 Enter your temporal password first on the Pop-up then your new permanent password.
Congrats, you have finally complete your email.
